The Unsuggester derecommends...

LibraryThing has this wonderful gizmo, the Unsuggester, which purports to tell you books you won't like if you liked a specified one. People have great fun putting in books they own and like, and getting back books they own and like. I derive as much fun from the side-bar examples of books which don't match. Here's a classic.

Things like this…

…make me see the appeal of theonomy. Back in the good old days, your Israelite Congregation for the Preservation of the Faith would have had him swinging from a branch, and we all know what that means.

In all seriousness, though, and without soliciting the murder of a old fool, I really do wish Robertson would take a vow of silence. So, Pat, if you're listening: for the sake of Christ, his Church and his Gospel, as well your own eternal soul, Shut Up and Repent.

Addendum: a petition, started by Frank Turk. If you're a Christian concerned about this sort of rubbish, please sign it. Frank is promising to forward this to CBN if there's enough interest, and while I don't normally sign on-line petitions, I trust Frank to keep his word.
