Spring is springing

Sunny days, birds singing, flowers starting to think about blooming, that sort of thing. All the signs of spring, and after the winter we've had, what a blessed relief!

But you can see the signs an election is in the offing, as well. The most obvious thus far? The sinister minister, Jack Straw, is starting to grow a conscience about fair trials and civil liberties (src). It's a welcome change, but really does he think he's fooling anyone after years of authoritarian claptrap?

I wonder what other signs of 'electoral spring' will appear in short order…
